Emancipation

Work work work work work!!! Rhiana touched on a serious subject with that song.  Seriously, can you not see the connotation of having to continuously work. What are we doing all this work for?
We say to survive, to provide for ourselves, food, clothing, shelter and luxury items. Or are the newest technologies a must have these days.😊

Work should not only be for our present but for our future to the point where we will no longer be working but retired from working and able to finally slow our pace, our hearts and then die.

It's important to find a balance while we are working, but easier said than done. It can be so exhausting just getting up and getting to our place of work and then getting back home after that, the time for other things can seem daunting and remain undone.

Let's not be a slave to work. Again I know easier said than done and with me not providing a proper solution to this ever-increasing problem.

There are two things that I did myself to allow me to not be a slave to work: -

  1. I found something that I loved doing and was good at doing and did not mind doing every day of my life.
  2. To ensure use of my natural talents and the other thing I love to do I volunteer with drama groups, theatres and small performance groups at my community centre.
We have to make the time to examine ourselves, to free ourselves from mental slavery and be emancipated.
